Leonhard Seppala Humanitarian Award- goes to the musher who demonstrates outstanding care of their team while remainin competitive; judged on pre-determined criteria when they arive in Nome (only the top 20)
Prize: lead crystal cup, free trasportation back to Anchorage, and 2 round-trip tickets to anywhere Alaska Airlines flies
