This Year's Checkpoints
Anchorage-Eagle River-Wasilla-Knik-Yenta Station Roadhouse-Skwentna-Finger Lake-Rainy Pass-Rohn-Nikolai-McGrath-Takotna-Ophir; here it takes onto the Northern Route starting with Cripple-Ruby-Galena-Nulato going back to the main trail starting with Kaltag-Unalakleet-Shaktoolik-Koyuk-Elim-Golovin-White Mountain-Safety and finishing with Nome



The mileage is ceremonially 1049 miles. It is approxemently 1000 miles and the 49 is added because Alaka is the 49th U.S. state. The actual mileage is 1151 miles.
